The Recessional

Weddings are important happenings in the lives of many people. From the attendees to the immediate family to the the bridal party to the the clergy to most importantly, the bride and groom, weddings are very necessary experiences. And when a wedding ceremony is complete, it lives on in the hearts and minds of all who where present. But when the ceremony does end and the bride and groom are ready to begin their new life, they must walk up the aisle together as husband and wife.

A Groom Ushers His Bride Up The Aisle And Into Marital Bliss

When the ceremony is done, the bride and the groom start off the recessional. The recessional begins with the bride and groom walking hand and hand up the aisle, who are then followed by the bridal party, and then guests are eventually released by the ushers. The music for this portion of the ceremony is sometimes the same as the processional but is usually left up to the desires of the wedding planners. The song selected may range from something classical to contemporary but usually is a song of high momentum to help raise the celebratory moods of those in attendance.

We have included a list of some of frequently used or popular recessional songs below and we encourage our clients to go over the list and then look for them in our on-line database, listen to them, and decide whether or not that specific song is right for their needs. And if the song isn't and we don't have the song that they seek, we encourage them to contact us with their song suggestion or requests and we will work at getting that song in our database in time for their wedding ceremony.
