Receptions

The Grand Entrance

Right from the beginning, a wedding reception can be a joyous and celebratory occasion. Nothing gets a crowd in the right mood than the minute they hear, usually from the rumor mill, that the bride and groom have arrived. And nothing can compare than the look on the newlyweds faces when they are first welcomed by all their waiting friends and family members. The grand entrance usually begins with an announcement that the wedding party has arrived, which is then usually followed by an introduction of parents and grandparents. At this point, the wedding party is ready to make their debut. Usually they are announced in the order in which they stood up in the wedding, thus ending with the bride and groom. Often bells or whistles are provided for guests to help bring up the momentum of the event.

A Bride & Groom Entering Their Reception For The First Time

Typically the music for the grand entrance is something upbeat and energetic, but can range from classical to contemporary and can even be elegant and romantic. Sometimes the music selected for the grand entrance is so upbeat and energetic that the bride and the groom find themselves running headlong into their reception debut. Still yet, some planners go with an elegant and remarkable song selection to melt the hearts of the invitees. Here at Digital DJz, we have all kinds of music for most any grand entrance and we are willing to adapt our library to fit any grand entrance. We suggest that any bride and groom select music which exemplifies their union, something special about themselves, or music that is reflective of their nature and would be a song that guests could easily relate to the newlyweds. Whatever the decision of those planning the wedding, we come prepared and are willing to adapt any of our services to fit their needs.

We have included a list of some of frequently used or popular grand entrance songs below and we encourage our clients to go over the list and then look for them in our on-line database, listen to them, and decide whether or not that specific song is right for their needs. And if the song isn't and we don't have the song that they seek, we encourage them to contact us with their song suggestion or requests and we will work at getting that song in our database in time for their wedding reception.
